I have long, thick, sometimes difficult hair that has literally made stylists cry in the past. But I followed Belkys here from another salon, and don't let her friendly demeanor fool you into thinking she's too nice to be to truly excellent: she is amazing! Been going to her for years now. She listens to all your needs, provides great suggestions for upkeep, is truly great for both traditional refreshes, professional sleek style, and funky colored fun. Thumbs up!

I have been coming to the salon since 2017. However, I noticed a decline in quality of the salon during my last two haircuts. It was my final haircut that was the kicker for me. There were no seats available so my haircut was done while I was standing up and shoved into a corner. The stylist took off way more inches that I was comfortable with. I did not want a blunt cut but he insisted that this was what was best for me. I asked for layers and was given an extremely choppy cut. I was then left alone while my stylist went on to work on someone else and the lady who came to blowout my hair later proceeded to start round brushing my hair when it was dripping wet. What should have been a 45 min haircut, turned out to be a 2 and a half hour long horrid experience. I absolutely hated my haircut and when I called the salon to get it fixed, I was told that there was no guarantee that I would not have to pay again. I called again to speak to a manager, and was told that she would call me...did not receive a call. I sent an email cancelling my follow-up appointment because I was not guaranteed that they would fix my haircut at no additional cost, which I feel like is a fair ask. They did nothing to followup with me. Not even a response. Zero accountability. I just hate my haircut and will not be returning to the salon and am upset with the way I was treated. Trying to now find a new stylish who will be able to fix the mess.

So today I drove all the way to this salon super excited to finally have booked an appointment with Kyle Z after having followed him on instagram for a while. This salon is wonderful btw which is why Im leaving 3 stars. I was shocked to have found myself being verbally abused by this person after we had walked to the upper level, where nobody else was around. His behavior was disgusting and came completely out of left field. Very aggressive and condescending. I've never been treated so poorly by someone. I ended up leaving and the manager of the salon called to apologize. I'm happy that they care about their repeat customers and very disappointed in the behavior of their apparently very stressed out employee. I hope that I can overcome this bad experience and hope that I can save others from experiencing it. I cannot imagine someone sitting 3-4 hours with this man. He really needs some help

Love this place. I am always treated with respect and I feel welcome! Offered wine, tea, and water, upon arrival and there’s a beautiful rooftop garden to wait for your appointment. Also, they have done a fantastic job handling the covid-19 restrictions and guidelines. They have free masks at the front desk for anyone who needs one :)
